BOA IS CELEBRATING HER 20 YEAR ANNIVERSARY IN JAPAN

Reign Queen, Regin.

Boa (Kwon Boa) is commemorating the twentieth anniversary of her Japanese debut.

"BoA will present her 'Self Cover Project' to commemorate the 20th anniversary of her Japanese debut," her agency SM Entertainment announced on the 18th. This 'Self-Cover Project' features 10 remade songs chosen by Boa from among her numerous Japanese releases, as well as songs chosen based on fan preferences. From the 21st, the songs will be released in ten consecutive weeks, one song per week.

At 00:00 on the 21st, 'AGGRESSIVE' from BoA's sixth Japanese full-length album 'THE FACE' will be released on various global music platforms, including Korea and Japan. It appears to have a unique charm due to the fact that it was reborn through an arrangement that utilized the beat in the original song's pop atmosphere.

Additionally, following the 'Self Cover Project,' BoA will release the album 'The Greatest' on May 30th to commemorate the 20th anniversary of her Japanese debut. The day before, Tokyo National Yoyogi Stadium will host 'BoA 20th Anniversary Special Live -The Greatest-'.

After debuting in Japan with 'PEACE B,' BoA's 'LISTEN TO MY HEART' became the first Korean singer to top the Oricon charts. She set records by winning the Oricon Weekly Chart with seven consecutive albums, competing in the 'Red and White Singing Contest' for the first time as a Korean singer for six consecutive years, winning the Gold Award at the 'Japan Record Awards' for three consecutive years, and selling more than ten million albums in Japan.
